Unregistered Baptist Fellowship Passes Resolution Concerning US Policy and Israel

MONROE, Mich., June 16, 2011 /Christian Newswire/ -- The Unregistered Baptist Fellowship passed A Resolution Concerning United States Governmental Policy and Israel at the Unregistered Baptist Fellowship meeting on June 13-14, 2011 at the Gateway Anabaptist Church, 14461 South Telegraph Rd., Monroe, MI 48161.

A RESOLUTION
CONCERNING
UNITED STATES
GOVERNMENTAL POLICY
AND ISRAEL

WHEREAS, we believe the Lord has established a covenant with Abraham in Genesis 17:7-8 and later confirmed it with Isaac and Jacob and their descendants forever;
Genesis 17:7-8 - And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.

AND WHEREAS, we believe that this covenant is still in effect today with respect to the modern state of Israel;

AND WHEREAS, we believe according to Romans 11:25-27 and Zechariah 12:10 that, in the future, all Israel will be saved according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ at His second coming;
Romans 11:25-27 - For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
Zechariah 12:10 - And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have
pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

AND WHEREAS, we believe that Jerusalem is to be the undivided capital of Israel;
Zechariah 12:2-3 - Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem. And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be gathered together against it.

AND WHEREAS, that on May 19, 2011, President Barak Hussein Obama made a U.S. foreign policy speech declaring that Israel must pull back to pre-1967 borders, which means the division of Israel, giving back of the Golan Heights, and the creation of a Palestinian State which would endanger Israel;

AND WHEREAS, we believe that such policy statements bring the U.S. into conflict with the Word of God and place our nation under the direct judgment of the Lord, the God of the Bible, the Holy God of Israel.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED:

We are opposed to any United States, United Nations, European Union, or Muslim States policy leading to the dividing of Jerusalem;
Daniel 11:39 - Thus shall he do in the most strong holds with a strange god, whom he shall acknowledge and increase with glory: and he shall cause them to rule over many, and shall divide the land for gain.
Joel 3:2 - I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat,and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.

BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED:

President Obama should cease from pressuring Israel into the dividing of God's covenant land and discontinue pressuring Israel into creating a Palestinian State.
Genesis 12:2-3 - And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that
curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.

Spiritual and political opinions expressed within this resolution are a result of the literal understanding and belief in the verbally inspired preserved word of God, King James Bible.
Conflicts in the Middle East and elsewhere could simply be settled by belief and adherence to the same.

 This is regressive--it is Old Covenant -- primitive Christianity. America has dismantled itself and now looks to a nation and culture that will be a beacon to noahide law.

Lots of words here. To simplify things, "Unregistered" means that they are going by the spirit of the Constitution as relayed by the words of the Constitution, rather than just the words, which might have ambiguous interpretations if the spirit of the Constitution were not attached.

Of course, when Abraham was righteous, it was because he believed God.

Over the years, there have been incorporated, through marriage and simple "adoption into the nation," many "races" into Israel. They became Israel, not because they joined the nation of Israel, but because they believed God as did their father, Abraham.

"Not all who are of Israel are Israel." It is those who are of the descendants of the promise, the descendants of Isaac, THE DESCENDANTS OF THE PROMISE, the descendants of the faith that Jesus is the Messiah.

So Israel is not really the Israel of God until they believe the promise fulfilled in Jesus. This may be something that God will bring to pass in our generation. But until He does, and until they believe in Jesus as the Messiah, they are not of the Israel of God... though because of His promise to Abraham, they seem to receive all kinds of blessings. If they will not accept Jesus as Savior and Messiah, they are accursed right along with all the rest of the heathen nations of the world.
