Quite frankly, I am sick of hearing that, “America was built by immigrants…immigration is our greatest asset…diversity is our greatest strength…immigrants make America grow.”
That was then; this is now. We no longer can absorb the “masses yearning to breathe free.”
At some point, countries around the world and their citizens need to “make a better life” for themselves in their own countries.
One hundred years ago, this country enjoyed endless open spaces, virgin forests, clean rivers and unlimited resources. At the time, dirt roads prevailed, farming dominated and 75 million Americans called North America home. Immigration fed our industrial revolution. We jumped to 300 million by 2007. Such an increase of people can no longer be sustained, tolerated or endured if we hope to survive the 21st century.
Today, with 319 million people in America, we face congested cities, air pollution, gridlocked highways, degraded water, sewage systems, and infrastructure such as roads and bridges falling apart in every sector of our country.
Today, 48 million Americans survive on food stamps and taxpayer paid housing and services.
But every 30 days, our Congress imports 100,000 immigrants from 150 countries around the world. Exactly what benefit does that do to our schools, hospitals, cities and welfare rolls? What about our quality of life?
Earlier this year, 60,000 children from Central and South America overran our southern border. Today, Brian Williams, David Muir and Scott Pelley tell us about a “mysterious disease” affecting our children across the country. Not once does anyone mention that 60,000 foreign kids swamped this country with no chance to check them for diseases south of the border. Thus, how do you think that “mysterious disease” spread throughout the USA?
Right now, our first Ebola case hit the Texas area. We face sending 3,000 military troops to Africa to help contain the virus. Are we out of our minds or what?
We suffer beheadings of our own citizens at the hands of our fresh new Muslim citizens swarming in from all over the Middle East and from Africa. We read about honor killings, FGM and arranged marriages, but we keep importing the very religion and culture that sponsors violent death.
What exactly doesn’t our Congress and president understand about what they are doing to us?
Furthermore, the majority of Americans don’t possess a clue as to what we face, what is happening and the final results of mass immigration, endless immigration and the sheer insanity of it.
Why would a really smart culture, sanitary culture and disease-free culture like America import endless millions of people from cultures that think living their chickens makes sense?
Why would an intelligent Congress continue importing 100,000 third world illiterate people into America every month to place them onto social services welfare when we already face millions on welfare, food stamps and assisted housing?
This question can only become worse when diseases grow more intense in our schools, when our communities grow more fractured and fragmented.
The further we travel down this “we’re a land of immigrants” nostalgic myth road??"the worse the future for all Americans of every color and creed. Let’s stop being a land of endless immigration. Multiculturalism fails on every level and proves itself dangerous for our existence. Let’s maintain our language, our culture, our cleanliness, our hygiene, our educational standards and our ethos.
Otherwise, as the former Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm said in 2003, “If you believe that America is too smug, too self-satisfied, too rich, then let’s destroy America. It is not that hard to do. No nation in history has survived the ravages of time. Arnold Toynbee observed that all great civilizations rise and fall, and that, “An autopsy of history would show that all great nations commit suicide.”
We’re well on our way in October of 2014. By 2050 with another 100 million immigrants, we will have committed suicide as a civilization when they manifest within our country at our invitation.
