Another Hillary Big Lie Exposed

Another Hillary Big Lie Exposed

by Stephen Lendman

Already an unindicted perjurer for giving FBI investigators and Congress differing accounts of her personal server use for official State Department business, it's now known she lied, claiming former Secretary of State Colin Powell recommended she operate this way.

On August 21, Page Six headlined "Colin Powell sets record straight on involvement in (Hillary) email scandal," saying:

He went public for the first time, "saying her team is falsely trying to blame him." In testimony before FBI investigators, she said "Powell had advised her to use a personal email account at a private dinner."

Powell issued a statement, saying he has no recollection this advice. "The truth is she was using (her personal server) for a year before I sent her a memo telling her what I did" as secretary of state, he said.

"Her people are trying to pin it on me." When asked why, he said "(w)hy do you think?"

In his new book on Bill Clinton, titled "Man of the World," Joe Conason included misinformation, saying "Powell told (Hillary) to use her own email, as he had done, except for classified communications, which he had sent and received via a State Department computer."

"Saying that his use of personal email had been transformative for the department," Powell "thus confirmed a decision she had made months earlier - to keep her personal account and use it for most messages."

Reporting on the story days earlier, The New York Times said "Mr. Powell did not have a server at his house or rely on outside contractors, as Mrs. Clinton did at her home…"

"A State Department inspector general report released in May said that Mr. Powell and other senior officials had used personal email accounts for official business, but that by the time Mrs. Clinton took office, the rules were clear that using a private server in such a manner was neither allowed nor encouraged because of 'significant security risks.' "

Hillary's account was false, willful deception to create the appearance of no wrongdoing when, in fact, she broke the rules, committed a crime, created a scandal, and lied about things.

Throughout the campaign and earlier, she's been caught red-handed lying numerous times - not under oath so no perjury was involved.

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus accused her of lying "with incredible skill and grace," an odd way of putting it.

Polls show most US voters don't think she's honest or trustworthy for good reason. Her comments on major issues and important personal ones lack credibility.
