The Disgraceful NYT Lying Machine

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

The Times is a weapon of mass deception, featuring daily disinformation, fake news and Big Lies on issues mattering most - notably geopolitical ones and anything about Russia.

Tuesday it was at it again, turning truth on its head, claiming online Russian operatives conducted "a sweeping…disinformation campaign…funded with millions of dollars and carried out by 80 people operating out of St. Petersburg, Russia."

It's hard imagining why anyone would believe this rubbish. Sadly, too many do. Mind manipulation works this way.

Repeating Big Lies often enough gets most people to believe them, especially when they make no effort to separate facts from malicious fiction - the latter a Times specialty, notably on Russia.

The Times: "The Russian attempt at long-distance choreography…play(ed) out in many cities across the United States" - claiming numerous "rallies…reach(ing) 126 million Americans with provocative content on race, guns, immigration and other volatile issues."

Friday's Mueller investigation indictments "laid out for the first time, in riveting detail, how Russia carried out its campaign on social media."

All of the above is pure rubbish, disgraceful anti-Russia propaganda, not a shred of credible evidence proving any of it - the Times and other media scoundrels repeating what demands denunciation.

According to Facebook vice president of advertising Rob Goldman, most online ads on its site attributed to Russian sources occurred post-election.

"I have seen all the ads and I can say very definitely (they had nothing to do with) swaying the election," said Goldman.

Efforts to sway the results occurred internally, not from abroad by Russia or any foreign source.

No evidence proves otherwise. Mueller probe indictments amounted to lots of smoke and no fire - much ado about nothing except for the political and geopolitical consequences.

The NYT lying machine disgracefully claimed otherwise.

No respectable fish would want to be wrapped in a Times paper - with attribution to former Chicago columnist Mike Royko (1932 - 1997).
