Biden Regime Pushing Things for Conflict with China?

Wars by hot and/or other means are the US answer to all things geopolitical against nations free from its imperial control.

According to the Biden regime's naval war secretary nominee Carlos Del Toro:

When confirmed by undemocratic Dems, he'll focus "exclusively…on the (nonexistent) China threat (sic) and exclusively focused in moving our maritime strategy forward in order to protect Taiwan (sic) and all of our national security interests in the Indo-Pacific theater (sic)," adding:

He supports spending trillions more dollars for a 355-US warship navy — to continue the nation's forever war agenda against invented enemies.

As the US "shifts…to a more dominant maritime strategy in the Pacific, particularly in our efforts to deter China (sic)…our Navy and Marine Corps team will need additional resources…to fully field the combat effectiveness we will need as a nation to do so," he roared.

"We can't be fighting the wars of yesterday" that continue endlessly he failed to explain.

"We have to fight the new wars of tomorrow (against invented enemies) that include cyber and space (wars, as well as) many other (invented) challenges…"

So he'll lobby Congress to pour trillions more dollars down a black hole of waste, fraud and abuse after Dems confirm him.

According to US Indo/Pacific Command intelligence director Admiral Mike Studeman, the US must focus on a Chinese "threat" — that's invented, not real.

US surveillance and other warships sail menacingly close to Chinese waters in the South China Sea where they don't belong.

According to the Beijing-based South China Sea Strategic Situation Probing Initiative (SCSPI) think tank, five US Navy surveillance vessels were tracked in South China Sea waters at least during 161 out of 181 days from January 1 through June.

Each vessel was active from 10 - 40 days — mainly to "monitor the dynamics of China's underwater forces, analyze the scope of submarine activities in key waters and their entry and exit routes, and provide intelligence support for anti-submarine operations," the report said.

US naval surveillance was especially active near China's Xisha Islands, claimed as well by Taiwan and Vietnam.

On Monday, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said the following about the unacceptable US rules-based maritime order — meaning its rules that time and again breach international law:

"The US statement disregards the historical merits and objective facts of the South China Sea issue, violates and distorts international law, and breaks the US government's long-held public commitment of not taking a position on the South China Sea sovereignty issue."

"It deliberately stokes disputes on territorial sovereignty and maritime rights and interests, sows discord among regional countries and undermines regional peace and stability."

"This is extremely irresponsible."

"China is strongly dissatisfied with and firmly opposed to the wrong act by the US side."

Zhao stressed longstanding Chinese "sovereignty, rights and interests in the South China Sea…supported by abundant historical and legal basis…"

"No country raised any objection to this position until the 1970s."

"The US accusation that our maritime rights and interests in the South China Sea have no basis in international law totally runs counter to facts."

He expanded on the above in much detail, including by stressing that China will defend its territorial rights from hostile actions by foreign powers.

The US heightened tensions by what he called numerous "close surveillance drills" in waters where its warships and related vessels don't belong.

Along with being a major commercial shipping route, the waters are believed to be oil and gas-rich.

The US Energy Information Agency estimates that it holds about 190 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and up to 33 billion barrels of oil.

On Wednesday, interventionist Blinken's spokesman Price called US relations with China "adversarial."

Repeating the debunked Big Lie about Chinese "human rights abuses" in Jinjiang, he noted a US advisory that falsely "describes (a) heightened risks for businesses that have supply chains and investment links" in the region — including fake news about "forced labor," adding:

"(T)he PRC government is perpetrating genocide and crimes against humanity in Xinjiang (sic)" — a bald-faced Big Lie like countless others against US invented enemies.

Dominant US hardliners continue to push the envelope toward unthinkable confrontation with China

Irreconcilable differences define bilateral relations despite good faith

Chinese efforts to turn things around.

The same holds for US relations with Russia.

Like China, its ruling authorities prioritize peace and cooperative relations with other countries, according to international law.

Hegemon USA doesn't negotiate. It demands.

Irreconcilable differences of its own making risk unthinkable war with both countries.

China's Global Times earlier asked if US war on China is coming.

Strategic mistrust drives things in this direction.

Intrusive incursions by US warships  near Chinese and Russian territorial waters risks confrontation by accident and design.

China's Global Times once said the following:

"When it comes to our ability to mobilize people and resources to safeguard China's core interests, when it comes to the will to fight to the end, Washington can hardly compare with Beijing, and" the Pentagon clearly "knows this…"

The same holds for Russia.

While US war on either country is unlikely, its rage for unchallenged dominance makes the unthinkable possible.
