Forget these debates where mainstream media types squander their alloted time to query  the candidates with less than insightful questions.

I think my candidate ought to issue a challenge to the other contenders to an Ironman event.  A challenge of athletic prowess to decide the Republican Party presidential candidate.

Oh, it doesn't need to be a world champion caliber race:  Just a little ride, a little swim and a little run.  Surely your candidate can beat my 76 year old candidate for the prize? 

Come on, let the real game begin.
