(Editors Note: When our website went down on June 15 from which we sent out our daily Trumpet on Line publication, we, in our ignorance of computer sites, thought that Word Press was just making changes and that it was up to us to figure out how to use the new format.&nbsp; Little did we know that we were the victim of our first cyber attack, a term that had not been in our realm of knowledge until recently.&nbsp; After not being able to contact our web master, I decided to concentrate on other things, so I included the following paragraphs in a letter to the Biblical Law Center mailing list.)&nbsp;
&nbsp;
Dear Brethren and Friends, In my e mail that I sent last night - June 17- to the Biblical Law Center mailing list, the following paragraph dealt with the Trumpet-on line.&nbsp; It was correct as I understood it, however some incredible information has surfaced overnight that I feel I must share with all of you that are on our mailing list and friends on Facebook. Says "All Options Are on the Table" for Bringing Leaker to
Justice
FBI director Robert Mueller
promised that his agency "will be taking action against Edward
Snowden for disclosing confidential government activities. There is
no greater threat to the government than an unreliable insider. Mr.
Snowden has shown himself to be that kind of threat."
Snowden's whereabouts are
currently unknown. He is reputed to have gone into hiding out of fear
for his life. Mueller vowed that "we will spare no effort to end
the threat posed by this self-styled patriot. Snowden will be brought
to justice. Hopefully, he will surrender himself peaceably. But he
will be apprehended dead or alive."
Bipartisan support for rigorous
efforts to apprehend Snowden were voiced. House Speaker John Behner
called Snowden "a traitor who is undermining President Obama's
efforts to protect this country from serious enemies." across the
aisle, Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif) labeled Snowden's leaks "<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/136442-2013-06-14-semi-news-a-satire-of-recent-news-june-16-2013.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

President
Says Gov't Spying on Citizens "a Modest Encroachment on 4th
Amendment Rights"
Reports this last week that the
federal government is compiling records of every phone call made in
America and securing copies of every email and Internet posting
stunned those who took then 2008 presidential candidate Barack
Obama's promise to "end spying on citizens who are not suspected of
a crime and to stop tracking those who do nothing more than protest a
government policy they disagree with" seriously.
A leak from a career
intelligence officer to the Washington Post broke the news on
the PRISM project—a covert program to collect and mine data from a
slew of Internet service providers. The source justified leaking the
information "because of its gross invasion of privacy. Without a
court order or 'probable cause' federal agents are literally reading
people's words as they type."
President Obama insists that
"the consternation over this revelation is overwrought. &nbsp;
Each summer, I enjoy clearing my head, flexing my muscles
and traveling somewhere in the world on my expedition touring bicycle named
"Condor."&nbsp; Pedaling allows me to gather
my spiritual energy, stretch my body toward incredible heights, physical
well-being and a chance to refresh my mind.&nbsp;
Additionally, I love camping by a lake, stream, ocean or somewhere out
in the vast expanses of any desert. I love pedaling the long tracks of land
through deserts, seacoasts and heavily wooded areas like in the New England
states.&nbsp; Of course the Outback, Amazon,
Asia, Europe and even snow drifts of Antarctica have seen my tire tracks.

I love climbing mountain passes from 3,000 feet to 16,000
feet in the Andes or Himalaya.&nbsp; I can't
begin to explain the incredible rush of joy that transforms my mind and body at
the summit of such passes.&nbsp; Along the

Dixon</b><br>

By Don Boys, Ph.D.
&nbsp;
The recent news that the angry, aggressive, asinine atheist Richard Dawkins is now the "World's Top Thinker" is further proof that the world has turned upside down. For centuries, the herd mentality has been to place far too much credibility in anyone who is known as an "expert." Such a person is quickly given the desired accolades if he is a "doctor" or wears a white coat. All scientists are thought to be honest, honorable, even heroic; however, may I suggest that all New Atheists are hysterical, heretical, and harmful to everyone, especially children?&nbsp;
&nbsp;

&nbsp;
I challenge my readers to forget the hype and not believe Dawkins' Press Releases and simply look at the facts. Is Dawkins a highly respected scientist or charlatan and fraud? Let the facts determine the answer. It should be remembered that a lie is still a lie if everyone believes it and the truth is still the truth is no one believes it.
&nbsp;

I challenge my c<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135749-2013-06-03-richard-dawkins-declared-worlds-top-thinkeror-is-that-stinker.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

Roy Beck, president of www.NumbersUSA.org,
the leading organization for lowering all immigration numbers into the United
States to create a sustainable future for all Americans—spoke this week on the
effects of allowing 33 million legal immigrants into America within the next
decade.
&nbsp;
What will it do to our working poor? What will it do for
14 million unemployed Americans from all walks of life?&nbsp; What will it do for the 40 percent of
African-American men who cannot secure jobs in 2013?&nbsp; What will it do to add million more to our
already exploding 47 million Americans subsisting on food stamps?
&nbsp;
Beck speaks to this predicament:
&nbsp;
"In a national economy with a long-term, persistent
surplus of workers, a decision to add millions more workers from other
countries carries important ethical considerations, particularly about
priorities," said Beck. "The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and U.S. Census
Bureau found 20 million Americans in the fir<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135700-2013-06-03-s744-amnesty-to-propel-americas-working-poor-into-greater-poverty.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

Abrams has graced the Star Trek franchise with another winning film. One that I think is better than the original and was adequately balanced for the need of keeping audiences interested while paying homage to Star Trek's past. In the 2009 installment, the ability of choice is a continuous theme. Again and again, the movie's characters were faced with choices they make that affect not only the course of their own lives, but also those around them in order to make the point that people ultimately&nbsp;control their destiny. Into Darkness highlights the power of intelligence along with the value of friendship while elements of previous movies and shows are used for the film's plot. I do wish Abrams did not wait four years to make this sequel and think there was an opportunity missed by using elements of the past for this movie's plot. Hopefully, the next film slated for 2016 to be released in time for Star Trek's fiftieth anniversary will have a more original storyline. Bill Killian, the US Attorney
for the Eastern district of Tennessee, says that social media
comments critical of Islam that the Department of Justice deems
"excessive" will be subject to "enforcement action."

"We understand that some
people may be frightened or angry over what they see as unwarranted
acts of terror or other violence carried out by persons alleged to be
motivated by radical religious views," Killian said. "However, it
is our position that two wrongs don't make a right."

"Fighting for the faith and
slaying unbelievers is a religious obligation for Muslims," Killian
argued. "Verbal attacks on these beliefs and behaviors illegally
denigrate the religious freedoms of Muslims. Just as our Constitution
protects the Christians' right to 'turn the other cheek' it also must
protect the Muslims' right to wage holy jihad. To the extent
that Muslims are inhibited by hate speech targeting this right we

Part 1:
Quotes that make impact on America and around the world, human starvation
equates to human misery
&nbsp;
The green revolution arrived as a result of the efforts of Norman Borlaug, who, while
accepting the Nobel peace prize in 1970, said:
&nbsp;
&quot;The green
revolution has won a temporary success in man's war against hunger and
deprivation; it has given humanity a breathing space. If fully implemented, the
revolution can provide sufficient food for sustenance during the next three
decades. But the frightening power of human reproduction must also be curbed;
otherwise the success of the green revolution will be ephemeral only.&quot;
&nbsp;
Ironically, Borlaug, not only foresaw mass human starvation, he
unwittingly contributed to it.&nbsp; While his great experimenting with crops
yielded greater gains per acre, he facilitated massive population growth that
exploded the world from 2.5 billion at the beginning of the last century to our

&nbsp;
Over
the past ten years, I have tried my best to inform the American people
concerning the negatives of endless legal immigration as well as the horrors of
nonstop illegal immigration.
&nbsp;
Thankfully,
when Bush tried to jam an amnesty down our throats in 2007, enough Americans
called and wrote their senators to stop the amnesty.&nbsp; But today, the exact same bogus amnesty faces
us once again.&nbsp; As noted earlier, our
U.S. Senate added another 500,000 legal immigrants to the bill to make it 1.5
million immigrants granted citizenship annually.&nbsp; You must wonder who they represent because
it's sure not American citizens.
&nbsp;
First,
they won't enforce the laws on the books, but now they rewrite the laws to make
illegality and criminality—legal.&nbsp; It
boggles my mind.

Its four-day meeting occurs annually. It's a rite of spring. British political economist Will Hutton calls the group the "high priests of globalization." Powerful movers and shakers have their own agenda.
They discuss key issues. They do it year round. Once annually they meet face-to-face. They plot strategy to exploit the world's riches. They want them for themselves. They try to keep meeting dates, locations, and issues to be discussed secret.
Word gets out. It's official. Britain's five-star Grove Hotel is this year's venue. It's a Hertfordshire, England hotel resort. It calls itself "London's cosmopolitan country estate."
It's 18 miles from London. It's 30 minutes from Heathrow Airport. It's ideal for secluded meetings. Great pains are taken to keep journalists, activists, and other uninvited guests away.
On May 13, Infowars reporters Paul Joseph Watson and Jon Scobie visited the Grove Hotel. They claim to have "groundbraking" i<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135504-2013-05-30-bilderbergs-june-6-9-conference.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

Pelosi
Absolves President in Spate of Scandals
House Minority Leader Nancy
Pelosi (D-Calif) sought to absolve President Obama from any blame in
the burgeoning plume of scandals surrounding his Administration by
forcefully asserting that "he doesn't necessarily know anything
about any agency of the federal government."
The Congresswoman brushed off
reports that IRS Commissioner Doug Shulman visited the Obama White
House 118 times over a two year period during which conservative
groups were targeted as indicative of anything. "The White House is
a big place," Pelosi said. "Just because Mr. Shulman and
President Obama were in the building doesn't necessarily mean that
they met. And even if they had, it doesn't prove that they discussed
tax matters. I understand Shulman says he was there for the Easter
Egg roll."
Pelosi also dismissed the idea
that a chief executive has to take responsibility for the actions of
his appointed minions, calling former President Truman's fa<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135225-2013-05-24-semi-news-a-satire-of-recent-news-may-26-2013.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

One would be hard-pressed to select the most corrupt Presidential
administration in US history. Over time, both Democrat and Republican
administrations have a track record littered with all kinds of
corruption, scandal, malfeasance, dishonesty, and unconstitutional
conduct. Out of all of them, only two Presidents have been impeached:
Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton, both Democrats. Neither of them were
convicted of the charges and removed from office. A third President,
Republican Richard Nixon, would almost certainly have been impeached had
he not resigned first.
Andrew Johnson's impeachment was doubtless the most
politically-motivated impeachment of a President in US history. He was
impeached by radical Republicans who were angry at Johnson's mild and
temperate approach to reconstruction after the assassination of Abraham
Lincoln and surrender of Southern forces. Specifically, Johnson was
impeached for violating the Tenure of Office Act in 1867, which forbade
the Pre<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135184-2013-05-24-obamas-scandals-rival-his-predecessors.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>

Lynas was one of the major figures in the anti-GMO movement that started in the mid-1990's. As a result of his efforts, numerous Third World countries were denied supplies of genetically modified foods in which imports of them were halted and research on them was held up. I commend him for his intellectual honesty and his willingness to publicly admit his mistakes while exposing the lies told about GMO products.

Biotech foods have been made a topic controversy for sometime and it has mainly been due to the efforts of environmentalists. Opponents mainly claim that GMO's are unsafe, won't solve the need for food in poor countries and/or don't increase the overall food supply. Back in 2002 Europe went so far as to ban the import of biotech foods based on many of these assertions which were based on fabrications if not outrigh<br><a target="_blank" href="http://www.FreedomsPhoenix.com/Opinion/135201-2013-05-24-the-case-for-monsanto-and-gmos.htm?EdNo=001&amp;From=RSS">Read More or Make a Comment</a>
