Jersey legislator seeks to end anonymity on the internet

Written by Subject: Internet
New Jersey state legislator Peter Biondi has proposed legislation that would require web forum operators, isp's (etc.) to ensure positive identification of any one who posts information on their website.

Although this is only one state, it would create obvious "interstate commerce" openings for the federal government.

You can view the legislation and log your anonymous opinion here.
