Thursday Breakfast with Barbara Blewster on Problems in Education

As an educator, I find our local leaders and politicians at every level avoiding "why" education fails across America for the past 40 years. We devolved our educational standards. We injected 70 million third world immigrants into this country in the past 40 years--all with low cultural educational propensities. We are about to add another 70 million immigrants in 30 years.  We cannot keep up with the languages, the cultures or the huge numbers. We cannot take care of our own children's needs in education.  We dance around the 'educational gorilla' in our kitchen, but if we hope to regain education in America, we must institute 1. academic standards that must be passed before a child advances 2. stop all immigration in order for us to regain control of our schools and finances instead of running around trying to catch up to our tails which we cannot catch with relentless population growth 3. one language in order to communicate to our children 4. parental education on how to support their children.

Without those four points, you're all wasting your time and will keep chasing your tails until you are exhausted. Frosty Wooldridge
