Dinesh D'Souza, Jacob Hornberger, and Andrei Cherny are coming to Yuma!
Dinesh D'Souza is a conservative political commentator, filmmaker, and author.
He spoke before a Yuma community audience 12 years ago. He served as a policy advisor to President Reagan, is the former president of The Kings College, a small Christian school in New York City, and in 2012 released the film, "2016: Obama's America". His new film, "America", is now in theatres across the United States.
Jacob Hornberger is the founder and president of the Future of Freedom Foundation located in Fairfax, Virginia. He is a well-known writer and speaker of libertarian thought and has appeared on Fox News' Neil Cavuto and Greta van Susteren programs. Mr. Hornberger was a regular commentator on Judge Andrew Napolitano's Freedom Watch program. He has also given several presentations to the Yuma community.
Andrei Cherny is the Founder and President of Democracy, a public policy journal and think tank that seeks to spur new ideas on the major issues facing America and the world. Andrei worked in the Clinton White House as a senior advisor to Vice President Al Gore, helped develop the winning message for John Kerry in the 2004 Democratic primaries, and served as a part-time advisor to Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
In its quest to help individuals learn about and understand ideas on liberty, these three gentlemen have accepted The Freedom Library's invitation to appear in the Gila Ridge High School Performing Arts Center from 7 ? 9 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2014. The topic of their discussion will be, "The Proper Role of Government for America's Future."
