The Abominable NYT Reaches a New Low
by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)
On geopolitical issues mattering most, especially on war and peace along with anything about Russia, the Times features all propaganda all the time.
Journalism the way it should be was long ago abandoned. Times editors, reporters, columnists, and contributors serve as a press agents for powerful dark forces and their imperial partners.
They support might over right, corporate empowerment, and growing police state rule, disdaining governance of, by, and for everyone equitably, mindless of rule of law principles and democratic values.
They're pro-war, pro-business, pro-privilege, pro-super wealth, anti-progressive, anti-dissent, anti-freedom, and anti-everything just societies cherish above all else.
They ignore mass slaughter, destruction and human misery from all US wars of aggression. They pretend money-controlled sham elections are open, free, fair and democratic.
Monied interests above popular ones doesn't bother them - nor plutocracy, kleptocracy, and hypocrisy, not democracy in America, and bipartisan support for increasing totalitarian rule.
They're silent about the nation transformed into a ruler-serf society, poverty its leading growth industry, a private banking cartel, war-profiteers, and other corporate predators looting the national wealth.
They ignore deepening social decay symptomatic of national decline, fundamental freedoms fast eroding en route to disappearing altogether, and imperial rage for global dominance threatening humanity's survival.
The abhorrent Times report headlined "The Plot to Subvert an Election: Unraveling the Russia Story So Far" devotes 10,000 words to disinformation, Big Lies and fake news.
It's abominable stuff no legitimate editors would touch, utter rubbish like the Times consistently features in cahoots with bipartisan Russophobes infesting Washington.
It's more clear proof that what the self-styled newspaper of record calls "news fit to print" isn't fit to read. Weaponized Times propaganda masquerading as "journalism" is a national disgrace.
The broadsheet is America's lead instrument of state propaganda, violating core journalistic principles, polar opposite professional integrity, the cornerstone of journalism's credibility, stressing public trust, accuracy and truth - standards the Times long ago abandoned.
Its shameful managed news misinformation assaults and denigrates sovereign independent countries and their leaders.
It abhors world peace and stability, cheerleading all US wars of aggression against nations threatening no one.
The lengthy Russian US election hacking report is long on baseless allegations, no proof cited because none exists.
It's a beginning-to-end disinformation piece, rehashing long ago discredited bald-faced lies - written in cahoots with US intelligence community Russophobes, likely edited and approved by them before publication.
It mocks the notion of a Russiagate witch-hunt built on voluminous rubbish, cold hard verifiable facts entirely lacking.
It's all about delegitimizing Trump for the wrong reasons, ignoring the most important right ones, along with waging propaganda war on Russia and Vladimir Putin personally for opposing Washington's imperial agenda, as well as failing to bend to its will, unwilling to be a submissive vassal state, what bipartisan US neocon hardliners demand of all nations, allies and adversaries alike.
No so-called "mountain of evidence" about Russian meddling in America's political process exists, just baseless allegations and accusations supported by a "mountain" of Big Lies alone.
The Times buries the hard truth near the end of its report where few readers will ever see it - the whole idea for virtually concealing what should have been top-featured.
Nearly straightaway in office, Trump was co-opted by dark forces, wanting nothing interfering with their imperial agenda.
Things toughened after hardline extremists Pompeo and Bolton began running the regime's geopolitical agenda, political prostitute Nikki Haley playing a junior role.
Trump is a real estate businessman/television personality, America's first Reality TV president.
A geopolitical know-nothing, he knows little more about affairs of state than rubbish fed him in daily briefings from key advisers and other regime officials, along with Fox News disinformation, his favorite channel – all of the above manipulating his thinking.
He's a front man for powerful dark forces in Washington, co-opted to serve their diabolical interests.
Genuinely wanting improved relations with Russia and Vladimir Putin personally on entering office - the only positive thing about his agenda - bipartisan dark forces destroyed any chance to achieve it, or with any other sovereign independent nation.
They want nothing interfering with their hegemonic agenda for global dominance and war-profiteering.
Cooperative relations with all other nations and world peace are anathema notions in Washington.
The Times supports abhorrent policies responsible journalism abhors, its lengthy Russophobic hit piece the latest glaring example.
