Hang 'Em High!

by Stephen Lendman (stephenlendman.org - Home - Stephen Lendman)

In the Hollywood film "Hang 'Em High," Pat Hingle portrays a fictional judge who misuses the law like real-life hanging Judge Isaac Parker sentenced innocent people to death.

Along with other Big Media, the NYT consistently breaches journalism the way it's supposed to be.

On all things Trump, it's acting as judge, jury, and executioner by wanting him impeached and convicted, and removed from office, or tarred and feathered after his tenure ends in days.

The daily blitzkrieg against him by Times editors, correspondents and opinion writers is flagrantly unconstitutional.

It opposes his fundamental First Amendment right of free expression — no matter how divergent from views of others, including my own on issues unrelated to Election 2020 on which I agree with him about brazen fraud.

The Times applauded Trump's silencing by social media platforms — unconstitutional criminal acts, the self-styled newspaper of record complicit by approving of what demands condemnation.

On Monday, the Times' anti-Trump jihad continued full-force, much of its edition devoted to vilifying him — for the wrong reasons, suppressing justifiable ones.

It's because the vast majority in Washington share guilt, including corporate-controlled Big Media, notably the Times — proliferating propaganda, polar opposite how truth-telling journalists operate.

What the Times calls "the rule of law" redefines it, turning it on its head to demean and crucify anyone on its target list for smearing unjustifiably.

"Impeach and convict Trump," the Times roared on Monday.

Its customary litany of bald-faced Big Lies followed.

"Trump's incitement of a riot (sic) is a violation of the separation of powers that threatens the foundation of the republic (sic).

I covered this fabricated rubbish before, in a same day article today with likely more on this issue ahead.

Nothing in Trump's remarks on video and by tweets in any way encouraged rioting, just the opposite.

According to the rule of law, impeaching him by House members this week on phony charges is a flagrant constitutional breach.

The Times: "If Congress declines to impeach and convict (Trump) for his actions on Wednesday, its failure to act will weaken the basic structure of the Constitution (sic)."

Impeachment by undemocratic Dems, urging removal from office, or actions against him at end of his tenure will be the political equivalent of hanging Judge Parker's judicial abuses.

The Times falsely accused Trump of "incit(ing) an armed attack against another branch" of government — a bald-faced Big Lie, followed by reinvention of reality below, saying:

"Prompted by (Trump), supporters laid siege to, invaded, and occupied the Capitol building, deploying weapons and subjecting members of both chambers of Congress to intimidation and violence in an effort to produce a particular decision by force (sic)."

No Capitol Hill violence erupted until bussed in anti-Trump hooligans caused it.

Falsely accusing Trump of "attempted encroachment on the constitutional rights of Congress this past Wednesday" is another bald-faced Big Lie.

The same goes for dismissing overwhelmingly proved Election 2020 fraud as unjustifiable hearsay and condemning Trump for saying: "We will never concede."

Why should he after legitimately winning reelection Biden/Harris lost.

No Trump-caused separation of powers violation occurred, as the Times falsely claimed — no justification to impeach him on this and other phony charges.

The Times: "The whole country, indeed the world, is watching Congress to see whether it will allow this unprecedented attack incited by the president to go unpunished (sic)."

The whole country and world are indeed watching to see whether hanging Dems, perhaps a few hanging Republicans, and hanging media get away with their constitutional assault.

Whatever happens, enormous damage was done to the rule of law, perhaps too much to undo.
