 This is interesting.

A couple of years ago, or maybe a little more, there were reports of Hezballah firing rockets into Israel.  I was at my Dad's house, so the tv was on Fox.  They had this stock footage of what looked to be an oversized bottle rocket launching over and over and over.

There was even one segment where a live report was interrupted by a nearby explosion which they said was one of those rockets.  Everybody was diving for cover just before the report of the explosion, so what happened in the air above was not caught on camera.

My Dad was otherwise occupied in another room, so I switched back and forth between CNN and Fox to compare what they were reporting.  To hear CNN, it was all Israel's fault.  No mention was made of rockets.  To hear Fox, it was all Hezballah.

I didn't see any dead air in this clip.  That strongly suggests CNN did indeed cut the feed.

FWIW, I am equally disenchanted with both networks.

It is interesting that the network which, based on the reporting described above, appeared much less interested in war than Fox  would be the same network that cut off a Paul supporter.
