Powell Gammill5 years ago last week, the US military's "shock and awe" campaign lit up the Baghdad sky. 5 years later, with hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and 4000 Americans dead, we should pause and reflect on just what has been gained and lost.
May I also add, the death toll of American and allied troops will never be known unless, the families send the death notice from this government to a centeral point which will reveal to us how manny have been killed or wounded. We must not believe the outragious small figures after 5 years of sacrifice., 4,000 Ha ! A certain retired General let it slip on MSNBC, the # 33,000
