I first met Chet some 46 years ago when I was practicing labor law and he was heading an employer\'s association in Milwaukee.  He was one of the most intellectually honest and inquisitive people I have known, in addition to being among the gentlest of gentlemen. He was kind enough to have invited me to speak to his economics forum in Phoenix on two occasions - an organization that reflects his commitment to reducing both the economic ignorance and fear of liberty that prevails in our world.  I am very saddened to hear of his death.
