The Census Bureau just released population estimates for the United States & State by State

Texas might have had the largest one-year increase, but ARIZONA had the largest 2000-2008 increase percentagewise:
Arizona - 5,130,607 in 2000, 6,500,180 in 2008 - an increase of 1,369,573 people or a whopping 26.7%!
Also noted:
North Dakota was the only state to LOSE people, and I didn't know that Wyoming has less that a half-million people in the whole state! Interesting...
