So, this state has no money, do they now?  Why don't we peek into the second set of books the state keeps, as is detailed in the Comphrensive Annual Financial Report. (CAFR)?  Bet that would tell somewhat of a different story about the state's REAL financial shape.

Oh, forgot, we are not supposed to know about that.

So. To finance daily operations they will sell something under lease terms and get it back in a few years.

So this is a loan secured against assets. But it's not deficit spending?

Listen to all these congress creeps. "We need the money". No serious discussion of cutting bullshit "services" or reducing our massive non-violent prison population.

I totally agree. Let them do it in a high school auditorium. Or a picnic area. A parking lot would do. Or we could put them in a kennel! How about we put them in a kennel?
