...the poor kid in Scottsdale was 'separated from the herd', which is the GREEN LIGHT for "Officer Ann T. Constitution" of the Scottsdale PD to whip up some creative interpretation of the Arizona Revised Statutes and dispense improper judgement accordingly.

It didn't hurt that Ernie fore-warned the Phoenix PD that Chris & others would be carrying. I think it’s a complete farce that the Police hammer anyone with the ‘one size fits all’ disorderly conduct charge and should be reciprocated with formal charges against ‘abuse of power behind the shiny badge’ when they are found to 'just be messing with people because THEY CAN! Tha's MY statute, so saith I, citizen of these here Arizona bad-ass lands…(except for YOU MUH~ government whore and seething of bed sores! NO SOUP FOR YOU!!)

Why is a ROTC student carrying a AR15 look alike in Scottsdale Az arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, yet one carrying a real AR 15 in Phoenix is told it's ok and not charged with anything.  Not much consistancy in Arizona law enforcment.

Why not take a name and a wife at the same time, a nice Jewish girl who's cooking is sublime and not seeking fame, settle down like a shtettle and have kids with names like Jonah and Ben-Israel?

Why not eat the fish which is known as gefelte and pray in a temple and say just whateva and wear yarmalukes, tamishanters and excetera?

When you're a Jet,
You're a Jett all the way
From your first cigarette
To your last dyin' day.

When you're a Jet,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You're a family man!

You're never alone,
You're never disconnected!
You're home with your own:
When company's expected,
You're well protected!

Then you are set
With a capital J,
Which you'll never forget
Till they cart you away.
When you're a Jet,
You stay a Jett!

When the people fear the government there is tyrrany.

When the government fears the people there is liberty.

When people fear libertarians, something went boink in a big way.

Know something, I think Jett and I share a sense that something has gone wrong with the movement.

Jett's a younger in the movement and we've all spent or time telling the youngers to settle down, the apocalypse won't happen overnight, but I think Jett is onto something. It's a feeling I've had from the moment Glenn Beck re-invented himself as a "conservative" and took control of Teaparty.

There is something wrong here. Are we starting to operate by the Hegelian Dialectic?

Are we playing into somebody's hands? Are we playing somebody else's game? Are we dancing to somebody else's music?

I've been riffing on this for months in seeming isolation but does anybody else see a problem with us having just turned into the "radical faction of the GOP"?

Does anybody else see a problem with us being charactarized as violent people?

About 30 years work to get the word "libertarian" recognized as a distinct philosophy and now we're just the "wingnuts from the GOP".

Ask yourself, why in the world should anybody be afraid of a libertarian? We should be universal friends with all people. People should run TO us, not AWAY from us.

We are failing to communicate.

OK now even I am getting sick of hearing about guns. Gun this, gun that, you know, if this keeps up I'm going to start feeling self-conscious about carrying.

Man, that's one of the things that made Arizona cool was it was NO BIG DEAL before. If by carrying now I'm seen as making a POLITICAL statement, that's just gonna be contrary to my sense of the spirit of open-carry. I'm not sure I want to see the shooting-tools become POLITICAL.
