Obama Visit Sparks Protests, Rush Hour Havoc

Obama’s three-hour-and-40-minute visit will be spent at the Pennsylvania Convention Center for Specter’s $2.5 million campaign fundraiser. The $1,000-a-head cocktail reception and $10,000-a-head dinner event begins at 3 p.m. In addition to the presidential motorcades in Center City during rush hour, traffic will be affected by Gov. Rendell and Mayor Nutter’s entourage, 1,000 other guests, and protesters on the scene. Among the protests planned, the Independence Hall Tea Party Association is calling for people to gather at 12th and Arch streets from 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to protest the “big government policies of Obama and Specter.”

Man, Lori, whatever would you have done if Obama hadn't been elected?  Who would you place on hatred and bigotry on?  I reckon you wouldn't have much of a life, would ya, old gal?
