Minnesota Supreme Court: State Can Grab Cars from Innocent Owners

• The Newspaper
The Minnesota Supreme Court on Thursday upheld the right of police to confiscate vehicles from owners who have done nothing wrong. The decision narrowed the applicability of an "innocent owner" defense in cases where a vehicle is jointly owned. The high court considered the case of David and Jean Margaret Laase whose then-brand new 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe was confiscated in 2006.

Remind me why we need police for?  The police and the courts are the criminals, thieves and murderers.  Time is ripe for a general strike!

The State will take whatever it wishes from long as we allow it to.

Does the State own us? Or only our vehicles... and they simply allow us to use them as we do?

How long will it take them to license and take ownership of the comb I carry in my pocket? Or do they own it already because they have always owned me?
