The storm that buried northern New England
with 1 to 2 feet of wind-whipped snow the past few days will head out
of the area today. Gusty winds will persist across
the Northeast. Combined with the bitterly cold air that has engulfed
the region, AccuWeather RealFeel® temperatures will stay near or below
zero in many places for at least part of the day. An
even colder arctic air mass will get ready to blast across the Plains
into the East in the coming days.
