There were scattered boos in the crowd when it was announced that Ron Paul won the CPAC presidential straw poll. Faux News also reported that there were a large number of college students in attendance, and that the straw poll wasn't scientific because you had to go to a booth to vote and not all attendees bothered to do that.

And for the climax of the event, Glenn Beck gave a rambling, thoroughly confused keynote speech to culminate the week's festivities.

Maybe now CPAC can be buried, as it is nothing but an upright corpse of the conservative movement started by Barry Goldwater, one of the finest men ever to serve as an elected representative in the swamp known as D.C.
