Phoenix police union: Councilman 'smacked' officer's arm

State Rep. Cloves Campbell Jr., who has called for Authement's dismissal, said officers always claim they were assaulted after any altercation.

"This officer was putting his hands on Michael Johnson and pushing him back 15 to 20 feet when he almost fell down," Campbell said.

How come you can't touch a cop but they can touch you? Do they have special laws for assaulting an officer? Does our 2nd class citizen level of laws not protect us in the same way? Seriously, if anyone knows, please tell me.
