Every year at the International Toy Fair, toy manufacturers tout and peddle their latest products in hopes of scoring store shelf space with retailers. And this year, with the recession in mind, many companies went out of their way to market affordable gadgets and gizmos. Amidst the sea of affordable products, a few pricier designs sorely stick out -- a $2000 model Batmobile and an $850 crystal-encrusted tricycle, for starters. Do these high-end toys really have a home in this economy? Or are they signs of improving financial times? We hunted down five particularly pricey toys for some really lucky, spoiled kids.
