"To leave a patient on the side of a river while you get your gear out of the car and set up a rescue system you read about in a book is simply not good policy."

Any act of human kindness or concern is "obsctructing government operations".

My thoughts precisely. He robbed some unionized government worker of their justification for existence. And the taxpayers of the cost of the gasoline as their emergency vehicle was probably somewhere in route with TV trucks in tow.

Who does this guy think he is, rescuing a little girl without government approval? That is verging on terrorism. These White Al-Qaeda are completely out of hand.
