Arpaio launching Web-based show to talk to public

[Seems the Sheriff doesn't like the MSM, either] Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio has found a new way to get his message out to the public. He is starting a Web-based show to give a weekly address about new programs and to respond to current issues. Arpaio will also use the webcast to broadcast law-enforcement activity, such as his crime suppression operations and deadbeat parent roundups. "I have never had any trouble getting media coverage, but this is an opportunity to get my message out the way I intend it and not left to the bias or agenda of certain media organizations," Arpaio said in a news release. The program titled "JMA TV-1" will stream live on Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. at for approximately 5 to 10 minutes, depending on the subject matter.
