Andrew Napolitano: Bush should have been indicted

• RawStory.com

Judge Andrew Napolitano said that President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should have been indicted for "torturing, for spying, for arresting without warrant." The judge believes that it is a fallacy to say that the US treats suspects as innocent until proven guilty. "The government acts as if a defendant is guilty merely on the basis of an accusation," said Napolitano.

President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Cheney should have been indicted for "torturing, for spying, for arresting without warrant." -- Judge Andrew Napolitano.

So that you are not misled, readers should bear in mind that on record, Bush and Cheney have not lied under oath to warrant a conviction for “torturing, for spying, for arresting without a warrant”. Napolitano was talking of an indictment under moral law.

In short, the Judge was talking about “indictment” in the bar of public opinion.
