White House Backs Bill to Collect Employee Pay Information from Businesses

The Obama administration is backing legislation that includes regulations requiring U.S. businesses to provide to the government data about employee pay as it relates to the sex, race and national origin of employees.

Uhmm, perhaps Lucky Red should consult the Nolan Chart to see that Fascism and Communism are not exact opposites, but simply different forms of totalitarianism.  Let's get out of the Left/Right Paradigm.  Unfortunately, almost everyone in DC is a political fascist--they have no political philosophy other than power.  If the free market seems attractive, they are free market; if socialism seems attractive, they are socialist. 

 Funny, too, I don't know how many "right-wing" wing nuts advocate ending the Drug War, ending the wars overseas, and protecting civil liberties for all individuals.  I must be on the wrong website.

 Ok, I get it, the implication here is that Obama is a Socialist, a Communist, a Fascist (even if the first two are the complete opposite of the last one) and all that jazz.   However, if he's such a Socialist/Communist, how exactly would you explain this one:

Pay czar chose not to go after $1.6B in bank pay

WASHINGTON – The Obama administration's pay czar said Friday that he did not try to recoup $1.6 billion in lavish compensation to top executives at bailed-out banks because he thought shaming the banks was punishment enough.

Kenneth Feinberg said 17 banks receiving taxpayer money from the $700 billion financial bailout made "ill-advised" payments to their executives. But he stopped short of calling them "contrary to the public interest" — language that would have signaled a fight to get the money back.


I realize you Right Wing whackjobs must be elated that your bosses got off scotts free again.   How's that Communism working out for y'all, huh?
