4 decades later, China still isn't discussing Cultural Revolution

The schoolgirls slapped and punched their vice principal, then grabbed table legs with protruding nails and beat her unconscious. Bian Zhongyun was left slumped in a garbage cart in the Beijing high school's courtyard. She'd urinated and defecated on herself, and died with blood and spit drooling from her mouth.

China's government doesn't allow cultural reform.

In a similar way our government doesn't allow us to get back to freedom, and private property, and truth about what government is doing, and election reform, and honesty among law enforcement, and money that has intrinsic value, no taxation without real representation, and hundreds of other things... even though the Constitutions and basic, foundational laws say these things should be ours.
