Is Robert Rodriquez's Mexploitation movie "Machete" meant to make latinos start a race

Alex Jones says concerned individuals in his crew leaked a version of the script to him because they are concerned that it contributes to racial division. Maybe it was just a clever marketing ploy to get Alex Jones to talk about it. Controversy is publicity, after all. They had me at Jessica Alba.

The debate on "Machete", the movie is like a puppy chasing a red ribbon tied on its tail. The poor puppy just run and run in circle trying to catch the ribbon.

Let’s examine how it all started. First, YouTube now says the movie is starting a race war between the Wayan firebrands of Mexico and the shooting Gringos in the U.S.-Mexican border.

Wrong. This race war had started beyond the border millions of years ago when the earth’s tectonic continental plate shifted and collided with the great Asian continent creating Mt. Everest and North America where now Mexico is. What separates them is an infinite border wall – by land geographically speaking, as well as what’s in the mind. Who started this race war, the Machetes or the Gringos? You may guess a million times and not one of them will ever be right …

Here’s why: Trigger-happy Gringos started shooting Mexican immigration-law violators or the Machetes crossing the border to the United States. But there would have been no crossing by the Machetes had the Gringos not made life so attractive in their side of the border. If the U.S. is hell worse than Mexico Mexicans are running away from, who would cross the border and come here? And yet, is it Gringos’ fault if they make their life attractive that it catches the attention and envy of the world? Of course not, but is it also the Machetes’ fault if better life attracts them to the point of taking a bullet to have it and share the "American Dream" that the Gringos were proud to announce to the whole world? Of course not, then whose fault is it?

There is your puppy in an endless merry-go-round chasing the red ribbon in its tail.

Sourcing or blaming the problem on bad economy and corruption in Mexico or third countries that create an Exodus to this land of milk and honey or justifying the mean-spirited or inhumane treatment of undocumented immigrants and along with it making the reason of security as an excuse for shooting Machetes in the border as what is happening in Arizona, are all but peripheral to the real cause of this so-called "racial war", which unfortunately not a soul floundering in the edge of hell will ever understand
