Obama Pushes 'Zero Tolerance' for Online Harrassment

Obama also recognized some of the challenges involved with regulating speech on the Internet, and said that part of the problem with curbing harassment online is "that information flows out there and it's generally not censored and it's generally not controlled by any single authority."

The public outcry to silence online antagonists comes after Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi jumped to his death from the George Washington Bridge after his roommate and another student posted a video online of Clementi's sexual encounter with another man.
