The United States military is toying with the idea of battlefield holograms again. This time, they might do it. The PsyOps (psychological operations) arm of the Pentagon has been pushing hard for the capability and believes it could produce a significant impact upon the Taliban in Afghanistan and other insurgent fighters opposing U.S. military forces in theater. Military weapons on the battlefield have often incorporated more than just physical weaponry, ordinance, soldiers and a supply network. Psychology is a major component too.
