Top scientists: Fatal flaws in NASA study of arsenic-based life

Did NASA blow it? NASA rushed to tell the world about a new lifeform discovered right here on Earth. The strange new life, found in the Mono Lake region of California, seemed to be a unique arsenic-based carbon life instead of the phosphorous based carbon life ubiquitous to all other life on the planet. Perhaps the space agency's December 2, 2010 news conference was a bit mature. In fact, perhaps it never should have been held at all. Some scientists are now voicing this opinion...
