Haiti cholera toll passes 2,500

The health ministry has listed 2535 deaths since the outbreak in the impoverished Caribbean nation erupted in mid-October. Almost 57,000 of the 114,497 people infected have been treated in hospital.

Hopes rose last week that the death rate could be slowing as less than 30 people were shown to have died on two consecutive days.

Frostytution Memo: Overpopulation did not cause these mounting [more than 2500] casualties in Haiti. There is no overpopulation in Haiti or in Paradise Island of which you hoodwinked readers to believe. Death tolls in Haiti are caused by cholera, not by population explosion. This is what I have been telling you ... Haiti is not an overcrowded island country. What is now overcrowding the island -- which breaks our heart -- are cadavers.
