Rand Paul received votes on two of his amendments to the USA PATRIOT Act
extension. Amendment 363 clarifies that the authority to obtain info under the
USA PATRIOT Act does not include authority to obtain certain firearm records.
Amendment 365 would require financial
institutions to issue suspicious activity reports only in cases in which an
appropriate law enforcement agency initiates the request.
