The Myth of the Rational Voter

Author of this book gives 50-minute talk. In it, he mentions that most politicians head to the center of public opinion. Ron Paul does NOT do this. I hasten to add, Ron Paul is not mentioned in the talk. Still, Professor Caplan is a pretty bright guy. Not far from where I live, a building burned to the ground before its occupants could yell "Fire!" three times. If you live in a rural area, you know what I'm talking about. Just to say that the esteemed professor talks pretty fast, but if I can keep up, anybody can. This is a good way to spend 50 minutes if you're interested in economics and policy.
