Mark Levin on ‘Ameritopia:’ ‘We Now Live in a Post-Constitutional Country’

“Utopianism is not new,” Levin writes in “Ameritopia.” “It has been repackaged countless times—since Plato and before. It is as old as tyranny itself. In democracies, its practitioners legislate without end. In America, law is piled upon law in contravention and contradiction of the governing law—the Constitution.”
Levin’s verdict: Barack Obama and modern American liberals are firmly in the Utopian camp—pursuing a vision fundamentally at odds with limited government and human freedom.

More like a Pre-Constitutional country. After all, we DO have lots of freedoms. But these are becoming more and more un-guaranteed.
The only reason Big gov hasn't stepped in to take away more freedoms is, there are too many of us and too few of them.
Need a job? Big Gov is hiring. For the TSA if nothing else. Anybody can apply and get in. All you need do is look at the professionalism among those already hired to see how easy it is! (Everyone working for Government in any capacity is required to take the oath to uphold the Constitution.)
I suspect that there will be many more opportunities for Gov work in the future... like prison guard in the concentration camps, or executioner when the camps get too full.

Yea, when I saw this article this morning along with another I realized it is just some neocon getting his book hyped for free by the MSM so he can make another few million dollars on the gullible who buy it. What he says conservatism is in a book versus what he says publicly and practices are two different things. I only care about what he does.
