According to Sun Tzu's 'Art of War'

According to Sun Tzu's Art of War, Americans are losing:

There is no instance of a country ever having benefited from prolonged warfare.

In war, then, let your great object be victory, not lengthy campaigns.

If the campaign is protracted, the resources of the State will not be equal to the strain.

Now, when your weapons are dulled, your ardor damped, your strength exhausted and your treasure spent, other chieftains will spring up to take advantage of your extremity. Then no man, however wise, will be able to avert the consequences that must ensue.

There is no instance of a country having benefited from prolonged warfare.

Worth mentioning to the warmongers and chicken hawks?

  • Consequences as unintended as they always must be because of arrogance. To get an idea how hellish these consequences can get read Machiavelli's 'The Prince'. On the other hand Afghanistan may have been the best loss to ever happen to Russia. As the song goes ' Where have all the flowers gone. . . When will they ever learn . . .'
