American taxpayers ultimately put up a total of 2.7 billion dollars that went for everything from sewer projects and new highways, to upgrading communications systems in Salt Lake City. McCain points out that the Los Angeles Olympics were just a fraction of the cost.
Mitt Romney was the man behind this porkbarrel project. The hanging question in all of this is how did MItt Romney financially benefit from his Olympic Involvement?
