Karzai calls for NATO to leave villages; Taliban scrap talks

Afghanistan's President Hamid Karzai called for NATO troops to leave Afghan villages and confine themselves to major bases after the slaughter of 16 civilians by a U.S. soldier, underscoring fury over the massacre and clouding U.S. exit plans.

The Afghans have been saying that for over 10 years now. - This says it all. Now we know Karzai is part of the problem as he speaks just like all of those politicans in DC after all of the years of the public asking for something right to be done, and all of them turn a deaf ear to what they are being told like this is all new news to them.
