Family pleads for U.S. prisoner at heart of Afghan peace push

• Reuters
The family of Bowe Bergdahl, a U.S. soldier held prisoner by the Taliban since 2009, says it is frustrated that more than a year of covert diplomacy has been unable to free their son and is urging President Barack Obama's administration to push harder for his release.

So let me get this strait; we released a number of high profile Taliban prisoners in the past few weeks and our gallant fearless leader Hill couldn't get a pathetic soldier in return.  I'm sure today her response would be, "What soldier?  I'm not responsible for every little soldier that gets captured."

What exactly did we get for letting them go?   A promise they wouldn't blow up Kabul until after the CONmander in Chief's plane departed.
