Arizona Ron Paul supporters boo Romney's son off stage

• AZ central
Supporters of Ron Paul booed the son of presidential hopeful Mitt Romney off the stage Saturday at the Arizona Republican Party convention as he sought to solidify support for his father's nomination. Hundreds of state GOP members were gathered at Grand Canyon University to elect delegates for the national convention in August in Tampa, which is expected to select Mitt Romney as the official Republican nominee to challenge President Barack Obama. "We cannot afford four more years of President Obama," said Josh Romney, the third of Mitt Romney's five sons. "We need someone to step in there and turn things around." But Josh had to stop repeatedly as people booed and yelled for Paul, who has continued campaigning in the Republican primary. All other challengers, including Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich, have dropped out of the race, and Romney has a commanding lead over Paul in the estimated delegate count.

I wasn't there and don't know the full circumstances, but I generally don't think much of not letting someone speak their piece.

Observations From Last Night:

The Spirit of the Founding Fathers was present in Phoenix, Arizona last night. The forces of Tyranny were made to understand that lies, cheating, and carefully laid plans of theft of Liberty will not restrain the quest for that Liberty. The Freedom Fighters were non-violent and followed the decorum of civilized people in every respect. Loud, yes. But some have finally come to the realization that passive acceptance of tyranny only gets you more tyranny. Getting loud is necessary to point out that you see the lies and subterfuge of the status quo which then slinks away like a demon from the light.

The organization of a civil society quickly filled the void. A spontaneous group formed a parliamentary organization, resolutions were formed, voted on, and passed; or not. Results were known by all immediately. The effects will cascade into the future.

This process is only beginning. When the situation presents itself a boisterous response is not acceptable but required. Tyranny never gives up. Life is the struggle for Liberty. To be enjoyed at every opportunity. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness is a philosophy that requires daily application and produces life long rewards..

Stay calm and Carry On.
