Illinois illegally seizes bees resistant to Roundup; kills remaining queens

A man who was researching the effects of Monsanto's Roundup on bees has had his bees confiscated by the Illinois Department of Agriculture and the remaining queens killed when officials illegally entered his property. Terrence Ingram, known for his successful efforts to preserve the bald eagle species, has now lost fifteen years of research after the bees were stolen. He had discovered that some of the bees were Roundup resistant, and was in the process of figuring out why. It is another case of Monsanto using government agencies to intimidate and quell research into their dangerous products.
