One particular listeria recall from June focused on 580 crates of cantaloupes from Burch Farms, reports The Packer. Luckily, in that case, all containers made their way back to the farm and no consumers fell ill from the fruit. Nonetheless, Burch Farms just announced this week that it will no longer grow cantaloupes, citing that the risk of contamination is just too high.
