John Kerry has a demonstrated disdain for the US Military. During the Vietnam conflict I believe he was a major contributor to the atmosphere that caused the disrespect our troops received during that period. He clearly disrespected the service awards he received during that period as he threw them away and was proud of having done so. He needs to demonstrate contrition for his disdain to get my support (I was in the US Army 1964-1970)
