Move to Amend: Citizens United is Just the Tip of the Iceberg
• Common Dreams The case opened the floodgates to billions of dollars perverting our elections, much of it completely unreported, and some amount even coming from foreign corporations and governments. The Court literally legalized bribery, and wealthy individuals and special interests took full advantage of it.
As shameful as that decision is, we must confront the sobering reality that it is only the tip of the iceberg. A small ruling elite (often succinctly described as the 1%) have stolen control of the country, and they are ruling over us. They use the façade of elections to legitimize the theft. And even when decent legislation is enacted, they use the Courts to overturn those laws. Citizens United vs. FEC is merely a deepening of the crisis of corporate rule.

Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is kept safe.
Who has the sharpshooters? Military, of course. Some CIA, FBI and NSA. Otherwise it is the police.
Who cares what the Constitution says... or the Amendments! If some judge doesn't somehow toe the line with regard to what those who control the sharpshooters want, the judge and his whole family might die at any moment.
The Brotherhood in Blue (cops) are becoming a government in their own right. Obey! But if you don't, you and yours will die one by one, from very mysterious circumstances that will almost never find a guilty party.
And you thought the Mafia was corrupt! Just look at the curse on the Kennedy family. It wasn't a curse. It was revenge from some powerful group one of their family had hurt. It was (and probably still is) Hatfields and McCoys in such a high places that it boggles the imagination.
The answer doesn't have anything to do with additional Amendments, except, perhaps, in a small way. Why? Because nobody will enforce additional Amendments, just like they don't enforce the Constitution right now, out of fear for their lives, fear from the police sharpshooters... or worse.
