
How One Chipotle Worker Worked Her Way Up To $99,000 Per Year
• Business InsiderCBS interviewed Lidia Castillo, a 22-year-old woman who worked her way up from an entry-level position to manager, general manager, and restaurateur.
A Chipotle executive said that position, which is like a senior manager, pays about $99,000.
“I get a bonus, I get a company car, and if I help somebody else become a general manager, I get $10,000," Castillo added.
The average starting salary at Chipotle is $21,000. Employees also get health insurance and two weeks of vacation.
