Police Sgt. John Sheahan said that around 4:30 a.m. there was a gunfight between people in a SUV and a Maserati before the high-end sports car hit a taxi, which burst into flames.

The Maserati driver, the taxi driver, and a taxi passenger were killed. Three other vehicles were involved in the wreck.

At least three people were hospitalized, including a passenger from the Maserati who was shot.

The SUV had fled from the scene when police arrived. Police say they are now looking for a black Range Rover Sport with large black rims and a “dealership advertisement plate.”
