A new American Holiday: Presidential Proclamation -- Loyalty Day, 2013

• White House
.... with every step forward, we have reaffirmed our faith in the ideals that inspired our founding. We have held fast to the principles at our country's core: service and citizenship; courage and the common good; liberty, equality, and justice for all. This is our Nation's heritage, and it is what we remember on Loyalty Day. It is an occasion that asks something of us as a people:  ....

President Obama issues Proclamation declaring May 1st, "Loyalty Day".

Ah-h-h-h, doesn't it make you feel good to celebrate May Day - May 1st - with all the fellow socialists and fascists in the world?

Google "May Day" and see all the celebrations - workers of the world unite!

Only here, in America, President Obama has issued a proclamation calling it "Loyalty Day."  It is the day to reaffirm your allegiance to the State.

Sounds almost like something taken from Orwell's "1984", doesn't it?  It would certainly be an idea and name Goebbels and the boys would approve of.  I can hear the sound of heels clicking together now.

This is not a day to proclaim Individual Rights and Individual Liberty sacrosanct.  No, this day is set aside to reaffirm the strength of your conviction in the support - YOUR LOYALTY - to and of The State.

This is a day to reflect and recommit to the ideals expressed by one of the Founders of the Omnipotence of the State philosophy:

"It is thus necessary that the individual should finally come to realize that his own ego is of no importance in comparison with the existence of his nation; that the position of the individual ego is conditioned solely by the interests of the nation as a whole...that above all, the unity of a nation’s spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an individual...we understand only the individual’s capacity to make sacrifices for the community, for his fellow man." — Adolf Hitler

So, I hope each of you acted and celebrated appropriately on this day of tribute to the State.  Homeland Security was watching, and Big Sis knows when you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness' sake.

Wow! I thought this was a spoof. But then I thought this was a spoof when it first came out too.
