Unusually robust spring floods in the U.S. Midwest are flushing agricultural runoff—namely, nitrogen and phosphorus—into the Gulf and spurring giant algal blooms, which lead to dead zones, or areas devoid of oxygen that occur in the summer.

this is lame why dont you tell the whole story here when fact when the pollution of gulf mexico is still happening and the aquatic animal life is dieing there what the heck is your problem huh  since they knew that the well they drilled was being drilled into a asphalt volcano and they knew that fact since  2004  want to find the truth go search at this site it has the pertinent info that you seem to have forgotten huh use the search feature at this site to find it have fun
